A note from our founder
The art we live with is personal.
It can be made by an artist we admire, by someone we love, or by us. It can hold a memory, change the feeling of a room, or express something we have not yet found the words for.
That desire to make more room for personal expression, along with our curiosity about what art and technology could make possible together, led us to create Fraimic.
My background is in theater, sound design, and storytelling. One of my cofounders is a visual artist. Creativity has shaped our lives, and creating more opportunities for artists and their work has always been part of our vision for Fraimic.
We believe technology can open new possibilities for expression while the meaning, intention, and point of view remain human. That belief is at the heart of Fraimic. It gives people a new kind of canvas to create, share, and live with art in their homes.
People are already using Fraimic in a range of different ways.
Some are displaying their own paintings, photography, illustrations, and designs. Some are creating shared slideshows that family members around the world can add to remotely. Others are connecting Fraimic with home assistants and building integrations that make their homes even smarter.
For others, Fraimic’s AI image generation is simply a way to have fun and create something new. They can speak an idea aloud and watch it come to life without reaching for a phone or opening another app, whether it is an image for story time with their kids or a welcome message for guests.
We see AI as another creative instrument: a way to experiment, begin, revise, and occasionally make something unexpected. The tool may help create the image, but the curiosity, judgment, and point of view still belong to the person using it.
One of our greatest ambitions is to create new opportunities for working artists by helping their work reach more homes, connect with new audiences, and be displayed with the permanence and consideration it deserves. We’ll have more to share on that soon.
What belongs on your walls should be yours to decide. We built Fraimic to give you more ways to do that, and we can’t wait to see what you create.
