Ordered 2 frames. One works great. The other does not interpret voice correctly. Fraimic support not only seems unhelpful but seemingly intentionally delaying by requesting the same things I provided over 5 weeks ago and again a week ago.

Frame is beautiful. Sadly it does not work as advertised and support does not want to correct the issue. Would choose a different vendor when selecting e-Ink in the future.

Edit: response from Fraimic implies I have been uncooperative. I have supplied the requested info 3 times. 8/26@7:08am, 8/26@3:50pm, and 9/21@2:37pm. The voice feature does not work on this frame and vendor is unwilling to cooperate. Even with escalation to founder (Anthony) and was assured I would get a response. I followed up again after a week of silence.

My large Fraimic is fantastic! I have it mounted prominently at the end of a hall so we see it all the time. I’ve uploaded my own photos, museum art, and used the AI, which is amazing. I have a skylight above it, plus a motion detection art light when it’s dark that really helps the display shine.
The 16x9 aspect ratio of the large doesn’t match a lot of the art sizes I find, but the web app has a cropping tool that helps you find a fit for almost everything. I love being about to change it whenever I want. Highly recommended.

Game changing product! Who wants to always have the same picture on their wall, with the ai image creator literally anything on my mind, anything I can imagine, a photo realistic heard of elephants or a impressionist painting of the french country side fills the frame! There is something about the image not being back lit too, really looks like a printed poster in a frame, not a lit up screen, by far favorite tech I have.

We received our large canvas and it was not working correctly, the touch feature was inoperable. Mary tried to assist for a couple weeks to no avail and we even received a call from Anthony himself. We tried more troubleshooting with no success. Did I mention Anthony himself called us?! Anyway, the Fraimic team tried everything and Anthony suggested we send that unit back and they would send out a replacement. So we did, and just received the new canvas and voilà, works great! We bought the standard for our daughter for their wedding and we got the larger, awesome technology that complements the decor. It’s also a great conversation piece, our friends want their own now. Thanks to Fraimic, Mary and Anthony for working through this with us.

Had some difficulties getting the frame set up and running properly, but customer service was attentive, ChatGPT give me some suggestions and together it is now performing perfectly. The pictures that I have put up on the frame are beautiful and look amazingly like prints instead of pics. I am still learning how to improve on my voice to vision images, but that is all part of the fun! I look forward to enjoying this product for many years to come...

The technology in the Fraimic is so cool, I'm amazed by it every day. Immediately after first setting it up, I didn't realize it was recording a voice-to-vision prompt, and my wife said "I want it to show a chihuahua in a white wedding dress." I was sitting there reading additional instructions and tips when the screen started flashing. Since it was our first (unknown) attempt, we were all shocked and amazed. Then we made some real attempts, and the outcomes were great. The same chihuahua in a football jersey of Oklahoma State, and a sunset over a rural field. Haven't tried uploading our daughters' art from when they were younger, but looking forward to displaying it and other images we've been waiting to show off for a long time! It is really neat how it looks like art or photos on paper or canvas, and doesn't emit a bright light when the house lights are off.

I’m really happy with my purchase. The Fraimic has impressed me, especially because of its size — it’s really large and looks perfect in my dining room. The e-ink display makes it look like a real piece of art, and once it’s mounted on the wall, it fits perfectly with the decor.

I also really like being able to change the artwork and give the room a completely different look whenever I want. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the purchase, and the large size and e-ink display are definitely its biggest strengths.

I have sooooo many photos I've taken of family and friends over the years and for the longest time I only saw them once a year when it was someone's birthday so Apple says, "Hey - remember these?"
Now I've got nearly 100 photos cycling quietly throughout the day. Every time I look over there's a different memory...been bringing a smile to my face. I didn't expect being able to display old photos - big, in beautiful color - would be such a win.

This thing blows our Samsung Frame out of the water! Having the ability to create high quality art so freely is a blast for our kids and guests alike. Everyone we show can’t believe it’s not an actual painted canvas. Highly recommend for anyone still on the fence. Just do it and enjoy brightening up your wall for years to come!

I'm really impressed by the large Fraimic, wasn’t expecting to get such quality as the result due to the big screen. It's really a piece of art within the room it’s placed

The large frame Fraimic is really quite astounding. I’m going to get my few and minor gripes out of the way: I wish the yellows were a bit more vibrant. They tend to fade into the brighter areas when you have brightly colored art, but that’s more a shortcoming of the e-ink display than any fault of the Fraimic creators. Everything else, the reds, the blacks, the blues, looks great, like an actual paper printing. Up close, there is a bit of pointillization, like when you look at newsprint very close up, but that’s fades when you’re a foot or two away from the frame.

The build quality is solid, though I wish there was hardware included in the walnut frame, which is beautifully made, to hang the Fraimic with wire instead of having to mount it on the wall with the built in keyhole hangers.

But the star of the show is the screen. There is something magical about watching it cycle through the colors and contrast as it builds your image, something out of Harry Potter or a fantasy novel as a blank gray canvas suddenly takes on the life of your cat or a movie poster or some grand masterpiece painting by an artist who lived centuries ago. It can set the mood for the whole room and it does it without a cord snaking over to an outlet somewhere.

I mainly use it for my own photographs and pictures, and the Fraimic web interface is easy to use and unrestricted. They respect the privacy of your content, and there’s no app you have to download which is great. The voice to vision is also really impressive. Once, even accidentally bumped the corner of the Fraimic, where is where you’d normally tap to activate it, and it heard me talking about something random, and built an image out of it. Imagine my surprise seeing a scene in a grocery store when I walked into my living room, expecting a completely different image.

This is one of the most gadgety gadgets I’ve ever bought for myself, an indulgence that I normally wouldn’t make, but the marriage of tech and art was simply too irresistible. I’m really happy with Fraimic and despite my minor gripes, it’s something I’m going to enjoy staring at for years to come.

The large Fraimic is impressive, wasn’t expecting it to be so substantial and really fills the room. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Love it! Backed these guys since the beginning and boy did they deliver! On time, with full features and great communication. The image generation is great, app works well, set up was easy, and I love making new pictures each day! I walk past it every morning and it's so fun to dream up something new. I have the large size which was worth the investment. Great battery life, easy to hang. Color range and pixel density is a little lacking, but that's a technology limitation and not Fraimic's fault at all. Wish I could have one in every room!

I'm hooked. I now have 4 larges and 4 standards. The images are excellent and friends thought that they were paintings until I explained the technology. We frequently change the mood in the house with the pictures and can't wait for each holiday to use AI to create some unique art. I highly recommend to everyone. The one change I'd like to see is have a size between the standard and large.

We just got our large fraimic, and we are so thrilled with the results. The way you can just tap the frame and speak your idea into existence is like magic. We had to enforce a "one per day" limit so we don't burn through all our credits the first week. The kids already have a running list of whose turn it is to update the picture of the day, and they talk excitedly about what they want their prompt to be when it's their turn. The images are full color and beautiful - they look like prints rather than a computer screen.

I was one of the Kickstarter backers for this product. I was originally hesitant to back this project given I have had less-than-ideal experiences previously with some technology-related items. But, I took somewhat of a financial leap of faith and back the product. I recently received the product and it is better than I had expected. The setup took approximately 30 minutes to an hour for me. And, image AI generation has been quite seamless. I have enjoyed this so much that I have considered purchasing more of them - the only reason I have not done so is because of the fair price point with them.

After a few attempts, I was able to create this 1900s type photo of our past and current pets. Quite frankly, it is breathtaking and accomplished exactly what I was seeking. Now, could I have accomplished the same task with AI and just have uploaded the image to a digital photo frame? Yes, in some sense. However, this was exceptionally easy to just modify the image on the fly with the voice feature the frame has. And, the image quality looks exceptional and better than typical digital frames.

Would give it 5 stars based on the wow factor for how it looks!!! But gave it 4 because I think usability could be improved for my use case. I don't want to use the AI features, and would only like to upload photos directly to the frame without any in-between relying on other servers/websites. It's doable, but not intuitive and you have to use a program with Terminal and Python to convert images to the BIN format at the correct size. They have the program and instructions posted on their Github site.

Customer service so far was excellent. I sent an email about my issues converting files to BIN formats, and within minutes the founder of the company emailed me back with a solution.

I don't think Color e-ink displays will be as detailed or saturated as standard digital frames, but they have a unique look that feels more natural and organic, and the larger size frame really sells that feeling.

Bottom line for me, the frame is amazing, wish I could have bought 2 during the Kickstarter.

I really love how it gives the feel of a real painting. However, it's a bit disappointing that the vertical image only displays horizontally, causing it to be cropped quite often. Additionally, the hanging hole on the back is a bit small, making the installation slightly challenging.
